Kandie Family
Celebrity Parents

Together with their children Aden and Avery, celebrity couple Andie and Kate have captivated the hearts of viewers with their brand of humorous family entertainment on their own YouTube channel Kandie Family. Charming audiences young and old alike, Kandie Family shares how having a family can be a fruitful and ridiculously fun experience. Andie was named overall champion in Star Search 2007, while Kate was an established commercial model in Taiwan before she came to Singapore in 2011 to join Mediacorp.

Eric Lam
CEO (Amdon Consulting)

A prolific author who has written more than 20 Science textbooks widely used by students in Singapore and worldwide, Eric is an expert in inquiry-based pedagogy and eLearning. He has coached more than 200,000 teachers and students in the region, and has shared in major US and Asia Pacific publications his thoughts on pedagogy and the use of technology in learning. Eric is the founder and CEO of Amdon Consulting, the region’s leading provider of award-winning interactive content and inquiry-based pedagogical resources. Amdon also owns Nodma eLearning marketplace that provides interactive learning resources to more than 10m educators worldwide.

Saravanan Manorkorum
CEO (Da Vinci Group)

With extensive research experience in Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory and A*STAR, together with NUS Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in Neurobiology, Saravanan co-founded Da Vinci Group in 2012. The premium education provider specialises in neuroeducation. It combines art and neuroscience in its curricula and workshops, and aims to actualise every child’s potential through neuroscience, psychology and education. Saravanan considers himself a serious sportsman. He plays rugby and cricket, and has embarked on a new self-discovery journey through Kendo.

Deddy Setiadi
Co-Founder (Kodecoon)

Deddy believes that empowering young children with digital literacy is one of the keys to helping them succeed in the future workforce. He co-founded Kodecoon with the vision of being a catalyst for a generation of children who can be creative, progressive and yet, grounded by sound values. Deddy started teaching since Secondary 3 and grew a passion in education. Born and raised in Indonesia, educated in Singapore, he graduated from Singapore Management University and began his career at General Electric.

Rethinavel Shanmugam
Lecturer (NIE & NTU)

Rethi is currently a lecturer with NTU and NIE for Visual and Performing Arts. He had been a MOE teacher for 10 years, specializing in the subjects of History, PE and Drama. His research interests include Critical Pedagogy, Digital Storytelling and Multimodal Learning. Within the Singaporean educational context, Rethi is involved in research concerning Drama Pedagogy, 21st Century Competencies, Digital Storytelling in Character and Citizenship Education, and Process Drama in English Literature.
